hi, my name is bex.

I am a twenty-something hailing from Vancouver Island, deep in the heart of rural British Columbia. I like it there because it’s quiet and no one can hear my primal scream exercises.

I recently returned to the family hearth (ugh) from crusades in the Big Bad City (Vancouver) where I worked in the music industry. (Yes I’ve met more famous people than you. and served them coffee.)

I’m finishing my BA in Liberal Studies with a minor in Media Studies. I’ll be doing a term abroad in Florence, Italy starting in May 09 and will be blogging about that a lot. I intend to go study law at University of Victoria next year, with a focus on social justice, copyright/DRM, women’s rights, poverty advocacy and maybe…one day…. politics ;D
