I usually plan a trip and a cash giveaway for my friends and family. But then I start getting into the financials. Thinking 'what if I only win $1 million? Can't get too crazy spending on everyone. That's not too much money.' By the end of the fantasy I'm no longer on vacation, instead I'm in a financial planner's office diversifying my portfolio. I often think about this issue too.
